There has been a dwelling at Arrallas for a very long time and it is mentioned in the Doomsday book (Arganlis). The name Arrallas comes from the cornish for silver court as silver was once mined here. The Duchy of Cornwall bought Arrallas estate (which comprises 6 farms) in 1952, and we ,the Bush family, have been tenant farmers here since 2001.
We have a herd of 180 black and white dairy cows. We converted the farm to organic status before we moved here . We sell our milk through OMSCO (Organic Milk Supply Coop) and our milk regularly gets used to produce Yeo Valley cheese, and sometimes to make organic Cornish brie.

| We are happy to show any of our visitors around the farm. Milking happens twice a day and we have a viewing area above the milking parlour. Visitors might also enjoy helping give the young calves their milk or collecting the eggs from our chickens. We also have two lovely and very tame pet Llamas. Arrallas is in a designated area of outstanding landscape value and there are lots of opportunity for walks in the area. Below the farm is a large area of mixed woodland, a great place for wildlife enthusiasts. |
